What should I bring on my scalloping charter?

Can we keep the scallops we find?

What if I have more than 6 people?

Where do you pick us up from?

  • What if I have more than 6 people?

If you have more than 6 people, no problem! U.S. Coast Guard regulations limit us to 6 passengers per boat, but we can coordinate with our network of captains to accommodate larger groups. Whether you're planning a family trip, corporate outing, or a big group adventure, we’ll arrange multiple boats so everyone can enjoy.

  • Is it customary to tip the captain?

Gratuities are never required but always appreciated. If you had a great experience and would like to show your appreciation, a tip is a wonderful way to do so. Most clients typically tip between 20%-25%, but it's entirely up to you.

While I like to focus on conservation through catch and release, if you want to take home a fresh catch for dinner, I’ll make sure it meets FWC size and bag limits before putting it on ice in the Yeti. At the end of the trip, I’ll handle the cleaning and bagging so it’s ready for your next meal.
